Flavor Monsters
Flavor Monsters is an aerial shooter game for iOS and Android mobile platforms. It sports six levels, each with their own feel, up to 45 different enemy monsters, five unique weapons and five power items.
Flavor Monsters offers a hybrid of tower defense and shooting, tasking players with defending a region of the United States from three waves of monsters. Players can take advantage of in-app purchases to expand or improve their arsenal with new weapons, tools and abilities. The action is fairly standard fare for a touch-controlled title, and it offers few if any hints at a public health message. It's not until players delve into Flavor Monsters' "Field Manual" that they become aware of the game's smoking-prevention strategy.
The game has a full store system, achievements, Flurry integration and Facebook sharing. This full featured game runs on a wide variety of mobile devices, including the iPhone 3Gs, iPad 1 and iPod Touch 4th gen.
The game was created in partnership with the Truth campaign and was a companion app to a U.S Tour to raise awareness of the side effects of tobacco.
SWATH - Escape the Dark Forest
Snow White and the Huntsman game for iOS was made to support the movie release of Universal’s feature film of the same title. The game was a “runner”, featuring two characters, either together in challenge mode or on their own. We mixed combat into the runner genre to to create a more compelling and novel experience. The game was built using Unity3D but the challenge was the extremely tight timing. The game was turned around in 22 days from commission with few resources. The game has Twitter, Facebook and achievement integration via Game Center.
Users can play as Snow White or the Huntsman in this runner game (available for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad) where they collect items and slide/jump/move from the Mirror Army chasing you to win. The Huntsman has special abilities to charge and attack. After running 1000 meters, players unlock film clips.
